Parent Code of Conduct
Parent Code of Conduct
- Hold your child accountable for a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and good sportsmanship both on and off the ice.
- Encourage your child to be a good teammate and to contribute to a team-first mentality.
- Trust our highly trained coaching staff and refrain from questioning coaching decisions during games or practices.
- Understand that success is not solely measured by winning, but by player growth, teamwork, and character development.
- Parent behavior directly impacts the entire team dynamic—negativity will not be tolerated.
- Recognize that this is not an individual development program—we are developing a team.
- Demonstrate respect for officials, opponents, coaches, and all players at all times.
- If parents have concerns about coaches, issues that arise in the season, or any team matters, they should be directed to LSP administrators.
- Inappropriate parent behavior, including verbal abuse, excessive interference, or creating a negative atmosphere, may result in removal from the team.
Violating this Code of Conduct can result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to: reduced playing time, suspension, or removal from the team. The coaching staff and organization leadership will determine appropriate consequences based on the severity of the infraction.
